29/30.- Hong Kong, Lantau Island, Po Lin Monastery

The colorful buildings of Po Lin Monastery, adjacent to the Big Buddha, are also worth a look. There are a number of halls, Buddha statues, incense burners, etc. and some very nice carved dragons and wall decorations. The monastery is also famous for its vegetarian lunches, and many visitors buy the combined "lunch plus Big Buddha admission" ticket.
