27/30.- Hong Kong, Lantau Island, Buddhist statues around the Big Buddha

The Big Buddha statue is surrounded by a number of smaller statues and a circular walkway providing beautiful views out over the rest of the island. Inside the statue is a small, three-story exhibition hall telling the story of Buddhism's founding with various paintings, and the history of construction of the Big Buddha in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
