14/30.- Hong Kong, Avenue of the Stars, Kowloon

Here we've arrived at Kowloon. The tip of the Kowloon Peninsula is an area known as Tsim Sha Tsui, and has lots of shops, restaurants, hotels, museums, etc. Along the waterfront is a nice pedestrian promenade known as the "Avenue of the Stars." There are a number of film-related statues and monuments (like the one you see here), plus dozens of plaques set into the sidewalk honoring various stars of the Hong Kong film industry. Of course, the Avenue of the Stars also has great views of the harbor and the skyline of Hong Kong Island.
