Hangzhou has an international airport, the Xiaoshan International Airport, with direct flights to some countries in Southeast Asia.

A Magnetic Levitation train will link Hangzhou with Shanghai in the near future, meanwhile the best connection with Shanghai is by train or bus. The journey currently takes around three hours.
