8/26.- Hangzhou, Lingyin Temple, Sakayumini statue

In the Hall of Mahavira you will find the largest sitting statue of Buddha in China, the gold gilded Skayamuni.

Although many people come here for sightseeing only, many Chinese Buddhist followers come here to pray. Local legend says that worshipping in Lingyin temple brings more blessings than doing it in other temples in China. Click on the picture to view a video shot here.
