Currently Chengdu , with almost 10 million inhabitants, is the biggest city in western China. Chengdu has been inhabited for more than 2,300 years.

One or two days in Chendgu should be enough to visit the city's main tourist attractions. Note that in summer the city is extremely hot. The best time to visit is spring and fall. Winters are cold.
