If you want to buy antiques or arts and craft items, you should head to the Pan Jia Yuan Folk Culture Market. This is China's number one antique market. Unless you are an expert, it will be pretty difficult to discern if the goods are authentic or fake. But one thing is for sure, you will need good abilities to bargain with the sellers in this market.

In this market you will find all sorts of traditional Chinese souvenirs: ceramics, paintings, books, jewelry, teapots, baskets, Tibetan trumpets and prayer wheels, among many others.
