1/41.- Chiang Mai, Wat Jed Yod

Known as “The Rose of the North,” Chiang Mai is the second largest city in Thailand and has some of the oldest and most interesting temples in the kingdom. A good place to start our tour of Chiang Mai is at Wat (Temple) Jed Yod, which was built in the late 15th century for the 8th World Conference on Buddhism. To your right is the temple’s relatively new Ordination Hall.
