37/41.- Chiang Mai, Monks on a bridge

Monks in their saffron robes are a common sight in Thailand, particularly in Chiang Mai, a city with hundreds of temples. Almost all Thai males take the robes (ordain as monks), usually before they are married and usually for the three months of Rains Retreat (Buddhist Lent).
