32/42.- Almaty, New tradition

In the center of the park there is the Russian church (see pic.09). Amusing moment: the owner of a new car came to the church to sanctify it. (Maybe to avoid accidents ...). You see a Russian priest (batiushka) sprinkles the car inside with the holy water, while the owner humbly stays with a vessel and candle in his hands.
