7/42.- Almaty, The Small
Almatynka
There is a few
rivers streaming down the mountains. They run through the
city in the concrete channels (they begin from mountain
glaciers and flow into Balkhash lake in the Central
Kazakstan, the water temperature in the summer is about
13 degrees), but in some places they have natural banks.
These are the cozy nooks of silence among noisy streets.
Incredible, but you are in 100 m from one of the arterial
largest roads! In the summer, when there is about 40
degrees in the street, here, near the water flow, the
temperature is not more 25 degrees., and the noise of
water is definitely more pleasant then noise of cars!!!
