3/20.- Yellowstone National Park, Old Faithful Geyser

Old Faithful Geyser is the most famous geological feature in the park. Erupting on average about every 76 minutes, it reaches a height of 150 feet. Lasting from 2-5 minutes, it draws huge crowds for each eruption. This geyser can easily be photographed from anywhere around the perimeter of the thermal feature. The Old Faithful Inn, nearby, with its restaurants and gift shops, are worth an hour or so for browsing.
