12/23.- Vancouver Island, Oak Bay

Victoria is called the 'flower city' but not only because of the Butchart Gardens. All over the city, especially along the coastal drive, you will see the reasons for this name. Drive along Dallas Road and Beach Drive into Oak Bay and stop for a view of the many sailboats moving through the deep blue water or admire the snowy mountains in the distance. Find one of the many fish 'n chips shops for a bite to eat or drive to Oak Bay Avenue for tea at the Blethering Place in the English village-like atmosphere.
