In Coronado Island you will also find nice beaches. Bring your towel and swimming wear, and enjoy a day resting on the white sand of the beaches in Coronado. The best time to enjoy the beaches of San Diego is from April through September, when waters are warmer.

The main beach in Coronado is in Ocean Boulevard, from Hotel del Coronado to the Naval Air Station North Island. In the beach you can rent surfing boards.

Other nice beaches in Coronado are Glorietta Bay Beach, with great views of the bay and the bridge; Silver Strand Beach; Ferry Landing Beach, with views of downtown San Diego; and the coves at Sunset Cliff, popular to see the sun set, and the migration of the California gray whales, in winter.
