22/39.- San Diego, Balboa Park

If you are traveling with kids, there is an attraction in Balboa Park, you definitely should not miss, the San Diego Zoo Park.

The Zoo recreates the natural environment for each animal in 10 different bio-climatic areas. Among the most popular animals are the pandas, the polar bears, the gorillas and the hippos. The visit to the zoo will take you, at least, half a day.

If you are really into animals, you can also visit the San Diego Wild Animal Park, in the San Pasqual Valley (northern suburbs of San Diego).
