5/39.- San Diego, "Star of India"

San Diego is also accessible by road. The 5 Freeway will take you to San Ysidro and Tijuana, south, and to Los Angeles and Central California, North. The 8 Freeway will take you to Arizona. And the 15 Freeway will take you to Nevada, Utah, and Idaho.

A good place to start your visit to San Diego is in Embarcadero, a long promenade by the Bay of San Diego that runs from the airport to Seaport Village. One of the main attractions in Embarcadero is the Maritime Museum, where tourists can visit the "Star of India", the world's oldest sailing ship. She was finished in 1863, and covered the England-India trade routes for many years.
