39/49.- Los Angeles, Venice Beach

Los Angeles beaches became famous with TV shows like Baywatch. And it is here in Venice Beach where you will find the lovely Californian girls.

But there are other nice beaches in the area. In Santa Monica State Beach, north of Santa Monica Pier, you will find a 2 miles beach, popular among surfers, sunbathers and skaters. In Manhattan Beach, a beach and surfing village, where many TV shows where filmed, you will find plenty of shops. Malibu, north of Santa Monica, is the place to practice surf. El Matador Beach, the most romantic beach in LA, is 10 miles northwest of Malibu. And Hermosa Beach is a beach village with outdoor cafes, restaurants and trendy shops.
