4/49.- Los Angeles, Hollywood, Kodak Theater

From the Kodak Theater there is an elevated passway from where you can see the famous sign of Hollywood.

Hollywood was born as an independent city in 1903. Soon after, in 1910, it merged with the City of Los Angeles. That same year D. W. Griffith moved his movie company to Hollwyood. In the 1920's and the 1930's the major film companies moved their headquarters and studios to Hollywood. Since then Hollywood is known as the dream factory.
