Santa Barbara is the perfect weekend getaway for residents of Los Angeles. Tourists traveling North to Big Sur, will also enjoy a day in this upscale beach town.

The main beach of Santa Barbara is the perfect place to sunbath. It is never too crowded, and the sand is perfectly clean. In the area there are other beaches you can also visit. Some of them are: Butterfly Beach, facing West, perfect to see the sunset; East Beach, centrally located and with plenty of beach activities; El Capitan Beach, perfect for swimming and spotting wild dolphins; Goleta Beach, with picnic and fishing facilities; and Leadbetter Beach, perfect for water sports.
