20/49.- Pittsburgh, Carnegie Science Center

Close to the baseball and football stadiums, the Carnegie Science Center is a great place to take children. It was opened in 1991. Includes an omninax theater and planetarium, too. In addition, there is a world war 2 submarine berthed in the river just waiting to be explored. The rivers are a hub of activity in the summer months with private boat owners sailing up and down. The Regatta brings in thousands of people.
