2/22.- Panama City, San Francisco de Asis Church

We will start our virtual visit to Panama City in its old district, San Felipe. This part of the city, known as Casco Viejo, was founded in 1673. Here you will find many samples of Colonial Baroque architecture.

Local authorities are currently spending huge amounts of money in order to refurbish this old district.

In the picture you can see the San Francisco de Asis Church. Since its recent restoration, this church is the preferred place for wedding ceremonies in Panama.
