Panama is located in the tropic, and its weather is mild all year round. The country has a rainy season, in October and November, that affects mostly its Caribbean coast. But the country can be visited any time, because rains do not last long, and the sun shines almost every day.

The capital of Panama is Panama City, which has an international airport.

Panama is a very safe country. The best way to travel around is by plane, or on a rented 4-wheel powered vehicle.

North of of Panama is Costa Rica, a country with some destinations you may also visit if you ever go to Panama.

Bocas del Toro

Bocas del Toro is an archipelago on the Caribbean coast of Panama, close to the border with Panama. The islands are famous for its beaches, its wild life, and the relaxed way of life of its people. A great place to end a travel to Panama.

Panama City

Panama City is the capital of Panama. The town has a modern financial district, and one old district that is currently being refurbished. From Panama City you can do a half day excursion to Miraflores, one of the Panama canal's locks.

North of Panama is Costa Rica.
