33/50.- New York, Central Park
Central Park is the lung of the city. It stretches from 59th
to 110th streets between 5th and 8th Avenues. On sunny weekends,
the park welcomes the stressed-out New Yorkers. They come here
to skate, to jog, to play baseball, or just to stroll. In summer,
many locals, and tourists as well, come here to attend theater
plays or improvised live concerts. Click on the photo to see

Something that not many people know is that Central Park is a completely artificial park. Millions of tons of earth were brought here, and more than half a million trees were planted to bring some green to the Big Apple.
