2/50.- New York, The Empire State Building

After the collapse of the Twin Towers, the Empire State Building is once again the tallest building in town. Isn't it amazing that this building was completed in one year and 45 days? And that was in 1931!

The building is a must-see if you are in New York. Although long lines are usual, it is definitely worth the wait to get to the top. By the way, if you buy the combined ticket, which includes the Skyride (a motion simulator tour of Manhattan), you will save time in the line.
