In Nassau as elsewhere, it would be a pity to go and see the sights and not meet the people. The local population is overwhelmingly black, extremely friendly (look at their smiles !!!), deeply religious, and endowed with a compulsive gift for music and rhythm, most visibly manifested in the spectacle called Junkanoo.
