1/26.- Welcome to Palenque, Chiapas!

Palenque is an old Mayan city in the state of Chiapas, South of Mexico. This archeological site is one of the most visited in Mexico, and was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987.

If you are planning a trip to Chiapas, you should spare one day to visit Palenque. The site is located in the jungle, which still hides 90% of the city.
