4.- Key West, Sunset at
Mallory Square
The first thing to
do is to get to Mallory Square. We've arrived about an
hour before sunset, so there's time to wander Duval
Street. We might get a drink at the bar of the Pier
House, the only beach that faces the
sunset.
Or we can wander
over and watch the tightrope walker, the magician, the
dogs that do tricks, the guy who balances a stove or a
dishwasher on his chin, and a dozen other performers and
vendors (buy a coconut and mail it, try a fruit shake,
get a backrub).
