24/29.- Treasure Beach, Calabash Bay

Calabash Bay is another of the small coves in Treasure Beach. The sand of these coves is darker than the one on the rest of the island. The dark color of the sand is a problem when the sun shines. It gets so hot that you can not walk on it barefoot. Bring your sandals!

South of Calabash Bay are the Great Pedro Ponds, a good place for hiking and birding.
