Another activity very popular among tourists is a ride on a raft along the Rio Grande. A local legend says the rafting trips started with erol flynn, who organized races among locals who brought bananas on these fragile rafts.

Trips last three hours. If you book one of these rafts, bring your loved one, and when you get to lovers lane kiss him/her. They say that if you make a wish it will come true. But the best of these raftings are the scenic views. Do not forget to bring your camera!

If you go to the Rio Grande, you should stop by nanny town, the former Maroons stronghold. The town is named after local hero who defended the city from the English invaders.
