4/32.- Port Antonio, Blue Lagoon

The first thing I did once I got to Port Antonio was to go to the Blue Lagoon. This lake is world famous since the film with Brooke Shields was shot here. Its azure waters have became part of the dreams of everyone who has seen this movie. And here it is ...

To get here you can rent a taxi from downtown Port Antonio, or share one of the collective taxis. Just ask the taxi driver to take you to the Blue Lagoon.

In the picture you can see some of the trees and plants that surround the famous lake. The mild weather and the abundant rain, help this wonderful plants grow.
