Nine Miles, Bob Marley museum, gate
This big gate protects the place where the family of Bob Marley used to live. The house where he lived has been preserved. In front of his family humble house, an ethiopian style church was erected. Inside this tiny temple, Bob Marley rests in peace. He is considered a saint by the rastafarian community. For this reason you must take off your shoes before entering. It is not allowed to take pictures of his mausoleum.
Rastafarians are famous outside Jamaica almost only for their dreadlocks, but there are rastafarians who do not let their hair grow. Rastafarianism is a serious cult here. Respect is the base of this cult; similar in some aspects to buddhism. More or less five percent of Jamaicans follow this cult.
