Chukka Cove Farm, river
As you can see in this picture, Ocho Rios region is quite wet. The picture was shot after a storm. The abundant water, the great temperature and the lack of pollution are the perfect conditions for the tropical plants to grow. If Irish people think Ireland is green, they should come here. This is green!
By the way, can you see the stones in the river? I met a Jamaican who earned his living collecting the stones from the river, and selling them to people who needed stones to construct fences. The most extraordinary thing about this story, is that he left the stones by the main roads, and when someone wanted some stones, the stone man was called. Although the stones could be taken from the road without paying anything, nobody dared to do that. It was a hard work bringing the stones from the river, and the stone man was always paid accordingly.
