Priory, Caribbean sea
This part of the island has not been affected by the tourism development, yet. Many unspoiled beaches can still be found.
Priory sits some miles west of Ocho Rios. East of "Ochee", as locals call Ocho Rios, are two more sites of interest: Oracabessa and Galina Point.
Oracabessa is a small fishing village famous for being the place where all James Bond novels where written. Ian Fleming bought a property here in the 1940's, "Goldeneye". Some of his novels were set in Jamaica.
Galina Port, three miles from Oracabessa, has some great views
and is a good place for snorkeling.
