3/37.- Antigua Guatemala, Parque Central

In order to visit Antigua, you can fly to Guatemala City Airport, La Aurora, from where you can take a shuttle van or a bus.

If you want to travel by land, you can get to Antigua from San Cristobal de las Casas, Mexico; and from Copan, Honduras.

From Antigua you can get to Lake Atitlan (2h), to Chichicastenango (2h), and to Guatemala City (1h). If you want to visit the Mayan ruins in Tikal, Flores, you can take a bus, but the plane is more convenient.
