17/23.- Costa Rica, Manuel Antonio beach park, an iguana

Look at who is hungry! This iguana is welcoming us to the finest and most visited beach park in Costa Rica. This is perhaps the only beach park where you park your car and then walk through a small stream to reach the entrance of the park. Yes, bring bottled water with you! The beach inside the park is delightful and we found several cute colored fish the last time we were here that like to hide between our legs and then take little nibbles on our skin! (We called one fish "Herman" and he really didn’t want us to leave because we provided him some protection, so we walked over to a piece of coral and told him to hide there.) [Next »]
