16/23.- Costa Rica, Manuel Antonio beach park

After a 5 hour drive (oh, you preferred to take the 20 minute flight from San Jose for just $30? Okay…) we are in the Pacific Ocean. Isn’t it wonderful? The zoning laws here require all buildings to leave trees in place and to leave a buffer zone between the beach and the road. We know there are hotels and houses under those trees behind us, but it looks like a forest of palm trees. The left part of the photo shows where we will go next, to the Manuel Antonio beach park.
