22/30.- Ninety Nine Steps, Charlotte Amalie

Our next port of call is Charlotte Amalie, capital of Saint Thomas. The Danes built these steps in the mid 1700s. Good exercise for you as you climb up and up and up. Don't forget to count the number of steps. Are there really 99? Once at the top you'll get a stunning view of the harbor where cruise ships are spouting forth their passengers.
