The visit to the park is better done in the morning or in the evening. The high temperatures and the strong sun, make the visit in the middle of the day not recommended. If you ask me, I would recommend doing the excursion in the morning (on a bike). Even if you enjoy trekking, climatic conditions may make the excursion quite exhausting.
