2/32.- Sete Cidades, Sixth City, Casco de Tartaruga

The seven cities that the name of the park refers to are seven differentiated groups of rock formations.

The visit to Sete Cidades can be done on foot or by bike. Inside the park there is a trail that will take you to all the seven “Cidades”. The visit on foot will take you around four hours, half that time on a bike.

In this picture you can see one of the formations in the Sixth City, the Casco de Tartaruga, or turtle shell.
