26/40.- São Paulo, Liberdade, Japanese District

São Paulo has an Asian neighborhood. You can get to the Japanese district on foot from the cathedral (Se), or by metro (Libertade Station). In Liberdade, Japanese District you will find Asian shops and restaurants.

The neighborhood used to be the settling place of Japanese Immigrants, but nowadays Asians from korea and China have also settled here.
