18/40.- São Paulo, downtown (Se)

Buildings in the Sé district are tall, or very tall. Shops sell clothes, electronics, and other things. Although the area may look dangerous, it is quite safe (during the day). Police patrol the area all day long.

One of the highlights in downtown São Paulo is the building of Banespa. It is a replica of the empire State Building in New York City.
