Theb weather changes very quickly in Salvador. Sun, clouds, and rain come and go quickly. If you get caught during a shower, the best thing is to visit a souvenir shop, and wait for the rain to stop (usually less than 10 minutes).

Temperatures are high all year round. But even in summer the heat is bearable. It is recommendable to book a room with air conditioning, though.
