19/46.- Salvador da Bahia, Largo do Carmo

Walking down Largo do Pelourinho, you will get to a street that crosses. Here starts another of the famous districts in Salvador, Largo do Carmo. From here you should keep walking uphill.

In the areas of Largo do Carmo and Largo do Carmo you will find plenty of bars, restaurants and souvenir shops.

If you feel thirsty, you should not miss one of the fresh juices. Another drink that you can enjoy in Salvador is, of course, the Caipirinha, Brazil's unofficial national drink made with liquor, lime, sugar and ice.
