The Botanical Garden has a sample of plants, trees and flowers from the different regions in Brazil. The Botanical Garden is located to the west of the City, next to the Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas. The easiest way to get to the Garden is by taxi, another option is by bus from the metro station of Botafogo.

One of the areas that impressed me most was the gardenia section. In a greenhouse you will find a few samples of these spectacular flowers. In another section you will find the impressive Amazon trees.
