In Ipanema's district you will find many good hotels, travel agencies (where you can also exchange foreign currency), restaurants, bars, launderettes, supermarkets and souvenir shops.

Ipanema and Copacabana are convenient areas to stay. The most expensive hotels in these areas have sea views.

Another recommendable area to stay is Centro, where there are many good hotels, and plenty of shops. Centro is not as nice as Ipanema or Copacabana, but is well connected by public transport with these areas.
