The city of Rio de Janeiro is divided into different districts: Lapa, Centro, Maracana, Flamengo, Botafogo, Leme, Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon and Tijuca.

You can get to Rio de Janeiro by plane and by bus. Rio has two airports: Galeão International Airport, with International and domestic flights, and Santos Dumont Airport, with flights to Sao Paulo and other domestic destinations.

Air-conditioned buses leave from Rodoviária Novo Rio to Sao Paulo and other destinations.
