5/28.- Olinda, Igreja São Pedro

The Old Church of Saint Peter was originally built in 1711. The church was destroyed and rebuilt in 1752. Since then, it has been known as Igreja de São Pedro Novo (or New Church of Saint Peter).

The Igreja de São Pedro Novo is located in a square where you can find a couple of good restaurants. Especially recommended is one that serves delicious seafood from the region.
