50 miles from Itacaré is the town of Ilheus. The only reason why tourists may want to visit Ilheus is because it is on the way to Itacaré.
In Ilheus you will find a market, commercial streets and some colonial houses. Although Ilheus cannot be considered a tourist destination, it is a good place to stop for a couple of hours and wander around its streets.
