24/37.- Belem, Republica Square

If we get back to the Presidente Vargas Avenue, we can walk to the Republica Square. On the streets surrounding this square we find many bars, restaurants, shops, and internet cafes. In the middle of the square we find the Opera Theater, where world famous artists have performed. If we take Avenue Nazaret, on the left hand side, we can walk to the Basilica of Nazareth.
