23/37.- Belem, colonial church

And this is, yet, another sample of the colonial architecture in the old city of Belem.

The nightlife area in Belem, limited to weekends, is called Docas (not to be confused with Docas Station). You can get there by taxi from the town center, it is not far. In Docas, you will find bars, restaurants and night clubs. The atmosphere is very local. You do not see many foreigners, but the district is considered safe.
